Tonight in less than 2 hours I’m going to my local Gamestation actually waiting in a line, at midnight, to purchase a game. I must be crazy.
I’ve never went to a midnight release. I’ve never queue in a line for a game. It’s cold outside too. I hate cold. I even, for a second, debated getting the collector’s edition of this game.
Sheesh, obsessed a little?
Last month I was, it was true. I was playing with a friend constantly for over two weeks from 10pm to 5am each day. Then one day, he disappeared off the face of Azeroth and I had to go solo from then on there (I fear girlfriend intervention). I’d levelled up with him so quickly and was so used to him being there I was still sorting out the ins and outs of my character. Only now I’m learning how to use him for his full potential since I’d never played solo with him all the way up to my current level.
Yes, I’m playing Warcraft. Why wouldn’t I? 1. I’m a geek. 2. I like to play games.

See the excitement in these character’s faces? No, well they’re excited… they’re just like me, they bottle it up until the penultimate minute. And without further adieu… SQUEE!!!! Right, I’ve got to get ready and meet up with Sofi, ShimmerGeek and Devidose tonight. Adios Internet!
My hubby is picking this up for me today. I’m so excited.
No need to fear girlfriend intervention…I won’t stop you from doing something that I myself would probably get addicted to if I played. I’m just worried that you will not be awake to talk to me on the phone when I call you because of your lack of sleep doing World of Warcraft. Congrats on getting the new game though…and we’re playing it when I come and visit you. Have you gotten the ticket yet? Yeah, You’ve gotta teach me I want to learn!
Hehe, was awesome to meet you, Shimmer and Devi on weds. Hope you’re enjoying the xpac!
