Feeling at Home

Friday, November 21st, 2008

This has been a busy week filled with deadlines and a little too much work.  It has sucked, and I knew at the end of it that I’d be going home–something I’ve been dreading for about… ehm… three months.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my family.  They drive me nuts though.  I’m sure you’ve been there, you’ve made your life and started living on your own and then you’re driven to live back with your family for a few months.  Yeah, I’m sure it’d drive most people insane.  But there were other problems, which I won’t share here but people who are aware of the problem know why I didn’t want to come back.  Thankfully I’m only back for the weekend.

Well, here I am – and just like most of my experiences it wasn’t as bad as I expected.  If I was to say anything, the lack of Skype (and one popular MMORPG) is driving me nuts! What I find funny though is you expect everything to remain the same as you left it–but alas my room has become a storage room (something I’ll soon remedy) and our shower has completely disappeared.  I mean, it was there a minute ago – not there’s some rotten floorboards and not much else.  Who knows where it went… Hmmm…

I’d write more but I’m knackered so I’ll see you tomorrow.  I need to go move some sails, wall insulation and boxes so I can get to bed tonight. Night!

p.s. Seems my cat Tigger missed me so much he’s become camera shy again… My sister, well she’s stuck in Dundee with me so she’s never been too far from my camera. ;)   Later!

Aww, well… at least it took them a while to start using your room for storage! I don’t have a room at home anymore cause my parents moved! XD

Reading this again all I want to say is…

At LEAST YOU HAVE a room…but I’m not going to be jealous.
I wonder where I’m going to live next summer…oh yeah. The DT house, the Theta Chi house or camp.
