It’s another busy weekend for me as I prepare for Corinne to turn up tomorrow.  I got off the phone with Immigration about half an hour ago, and after discussions, found out that she’s been let in.  *phew*  So, before I call her mother at an ungodly hour, here’s some Sunday Stealing to keep you going!

Sunday Stealing: The Christmas Meme

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
Most definitely wrapping paper as I love the look on people’s faces when a present has been so well wrapped it’s imposible to get the paper off.  Ah, the good times.

2. Real tree or Artificial?
Artificial.  The one time we did have a real on… well… let’s just say my cat loves to shred trees much as possible.

3. When do you put up the tree?
Sometime near the start of December but as it happens we’ve not put ours up yet.

4. When do you take the tree down?
Just after Hogmany.

5. Do you like eggnog?
Never had it.

6. Favorite gift received as a child?
Probably my mac mini.

7. Hardest person to buy for?
My mother by far. She doesn’t watch movies, listen to music, go out much and is allergic to a  few metals–meaning even jewelery shopping is chore I’d prefer not to have to deal with.

8. Easiest person to buy for?
Myself.  But in steed, my father.

9. Do you have a nativity scene?
Nope, and we never will.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
Neither.

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
A radio that was built to look like a computer.  That, or clothes.

12. Favorite for Christmas dinner?
My mother’s roast potatoes with gravy. Yum.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
December 26th. Nah, I wish.  Let’s just say it depends if I know what I’m buying and for whom.  I have enough for 1 right now and with 11 days left, I’ve got another 6 to buy.  Freak out!

14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present?
I’ve made a present by recycling something – a digital photoframe from on old PDA. But I’ve never recycled a present I’ve received.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?

16. Lights on the tree?
Yep.

17. Favorite Christmas song?
that one that goes “All I want for christmas… is you!”

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home?
Travelling back home, yes.

19. Angel on the tree top or a star?
It used to be an angel, but that broke.  I think we’ve movedi nto the star department since then.

20. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning?
Morning!
