So, first thing to *really* talk about after such a long hiatus.

Alright, I’ve got this covered.

I think I’ve got C to thank for this since the past two months have been a whirlwind of fun and enjoyment. However, it wasn’t until after she left that things went a bit weird.

First, we need some perspective. My sister is right in saying that this year I’ve become more of a hermit than I have been in the past. It’s due to a couple of reasons I can’t exactly fix and I’m starting to turn around.

On the last Tuesday that C was here in Dundee we spent it in my sister’s Union, getting slightly drunk and then… I started to push the boundaries.

I don’t dance, but that night I did.

Then, while I saw friends I knew from university I kept dancing. I could have even enjoyed it more.

The strange thing is, thanks to that night with C the boundaries keep on breaking. I’m feeling like that guy in ‘Yes Man’ who just can’t say no right now. I’ve given up. I’m having much more fun saying YES!

I’ve hung out with people I hardly know.

I’ve spent time playing games in unfamiliar surroundings.

I’ve even played football (those knowing me should know how much I hated sport in high school, and the fact I thought I’d never play it again).

Aside from friends, I’ve changed enough to break the bonds of procrastination (mostly) and actually get work done that I would normally do last minute.

I’ve changed. Somehow. And guess what, I’m quite liking the new me.
