Craig McCreath
My Life on the Net is the creative journal of Craig McCreath. That’s me. I’m a twenty-year-old designer, developer, podcaster and writer working, residing & studying in Dundee, Scotland, UK. You should follow me on twitter.
A handsome, charming & creative young bloke.
I run Fused Reality Studios, building websites catering mainly to small businesses, and am currently in my penultimate year at Abertay University.
I’m not a bestselling author or known among millions–neither would I entirely want to be. I’m just a guy on a mission to make the web a nicer place.
Personally
I’m in a relationship with Corinne Salone, the most wonderful woman I know, and currently counting down the days till the distance between us disappears at the end of April. We do a podcast together called Distance No Object. You should listen to it.
I started life in Edinburgh and until not long ago I had a full family; father, mother & sister. But in July 2009 my mother was lost partly due to a long health struggle. We, however, fight on… and this change has made me prioritise some of my longer term goals.
One of these goals was to start the removal process of my armour of fat. While it was very useful in repelling sticks & stones, it wasn’t good at much else… not even bullets. I now visit the gym three times a week and have been documenting the (slow) process of loosing it.
I do a bit of gaming on my MacBook Pro (I know… I know…), frequently playing World of Warcraft and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. I have one of those Xbox 360s, but I rarely play it nowadays. It’s in the closet.
The Blog
I started writing on the web back on Livejournal in 2004. Thankfully, since that ‘incident’, I have learnt how to use the English language–grammar and all. In April 2007 I began to take a real interest, purchasing this domain and writing frequently since then.
From February there has been a noticeable change in the content made for this site, now tailoring to both design and copy for maximum effect. Think of this as a blogzine. While the content will be more article based, there will still be the general view that it’s all about ‘My Life on the Net’.

If this website looks a bit odd you’re more than likely using a browser most of us avoid–Internet Explorer. I wonder what your experience of the web it (probably not a good one). If you fancy getting yourself some standards, grab yourself a copy of Google Chrome. After you’re done installing it, feel free to show your appreciation with a little thank you gift.
Hungry?
All of that reading must been difficult. As a small token, why don’t you grab a graze box on the house?
