About
I wouldn’t be surprised if you don’t know me. I’m Craig McCreath, an ordinary guy with a different perspective on life - using my skill of writing, design and photography to show how I see things.
The idea of My Life on the Net is not to tell you of my life in the ordinary boring way, telling you what I had for lunch and what I did during the weekend, but to share the ideas of my life and the photographs I use to portay it.
Life itself
I study Web Design & Development at the University of Abertay in Dundee, Scotland, UK. Being a full time student, I’ve got a lot of time to experiment with new concepts, ideas and enjoy my various hobbies.
The life of blogging
A new hobby, I started this on a scheduled basis April 2007. It’s been a short ride, and I’m always improving my content and writing style to try to be interesting to as many people as possible.
The life of photography
I started taking photos as a hobby in 2004 with a simple digital camera. I’ve been learning ever since then, with both film and digital cameras. This year I’m working hard on my first photobook - Age - which will be available by winter 08.
The life of design
I’ve been designing websites since 2001 when my aunt gave me a book on Microsoft Frontpage. I soon realised how to code myself and cut out the middle man and nowadays I use a variety of programming languages and design concepts to build good looking and well coded websites.
